Torch Growth ("Torch," "we," "us") operates torchgrowth.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because our data practices are simple: we don't sell your data, and we collect very little of it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. That's it — we use it to respond to your inquiry and for no other purpose.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) automatically logs basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this only for site operation and security.
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our site itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party services we use may set their own:
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site and may log requests per Google's privacy policy.
- Formsubmit processes our contact form submissions and may use technical cookies to prevent spam.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works fine without them.
How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries you send through our contact form
- To operate, secure, and improve the website
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the site: our hosting provider (Google), and our form processor (Formsubmit), which delivers contact form messages to our inbox. Each processes data solely to provide their service.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected about you
- Delete personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell or share it)
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jeremy@torchgrowth.com. We'll respond within 45 days as required by law. We will verify your identity by confirming control of the email address associated with your request.
Data retention
Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business relationship. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on a rolling basis and age out automatically.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
